Cabinet Secretary for Justice, Kenny MacAskill, visited South West Scotland CJA today to meet with the Convenor, Cllr Peter McNamara and Chief Officer, Jacqueline Clinton. Their discussions focused on the role of the CJA in implementing the proposals outlined in 'Fair Fast and Flexible Justice'.

Mr MacAskill also visited a community service work placement at Smithstone House of Prayer, Kilwinning; the South Ayrshire Licensing Boards, and Doo the Right Thing a project based in Maybole which received funding from Cashback for Communities to tackle anti-social behaviour.
