Community Payback Awards 2012

The Scottish Government has announced that the Community Payback Awards Ceremony 2012 will take place in March 2012, as part of a full day event which will also include a number of workshops and networking opportunities.

The application process is open from today until midnight on Friday 16 December 2011.

Applications can be made across four categories:

• Environmental – projects with a focus on creating a Greener Scotland.
• Skills Building – projects with a focus on improving offender skills and employability.
• Partnership – projects with a focus on working with others.
• Innovation – new and original community payback projects.

The judging panel will also select the Overall best community payback unpaid work and community service project from the winners of the other 4 categories.
