South West Scotland CJA and the Scottish Government hosted a workshop today which allowed our partners to contribute to the developing vision and priorities for the Reducing Reoffending Programme 2.
The event was held in the John Pollock Centre, Ayr and was attended by 48 representatives from CJA partner organisations.
Joe Griffin,Acting Deputy Director Community Justice Division, gave a presentation to set the scene reflecting on the achievements and learning from the first Reducing Reoffending Programme before outlining the opportunities and possible long-term visions for the Reducing Reoffending Programme 2.
After a question and answer session the participants looked at three questions in small workshops:
1. If you could make one thing better over the the next three years, what would it be?
2. What's the one thing you would stop doing?
3. How would you use the Change Fund to fund the changes you want to see?
