The Scottish Government is holding a series of regional workshops hosted by Community Justice Authorities to assist with the development of Scotland's next Reducing Reoffending Programme.
The workshop aims for everyone with an interest in reducing reoffending to provide their input into what the next Programme should aim to improve, and how.
The event will include a short presentation from the Scottish Government on the current thinking on the Programme, followed by some group work on the programme's possible vision and priority reforms.
You can find out more about the current Reducing Reoffending Programme at http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Topics/Justice/public-safety/offender-management.
The South West Scotland CJA workshop will be held on Thursday 10 November, 10.30am to 12.30pm (tea/coffee available from 10 am), at The John Pollock Centre, Mainholm Road, Ayr, KA8 0QD.
