South West Scotland Community Justice Authority invite you to the premiere and launch of 'The Ripple Effect' film and toolkit on Monday 16 January 2012 at the Harbour Arts Centre, Irvine KA12 8PZ, 10.30am (registration/ tea/ coffee available from 10.00am) until 12.00pm.


'The Ripple Effect' is a 25 minute documentary in which ten people tell the story of how their lives have been affected by crime.

Described as challenging, moving and thought-provoking, the film forms the core part of a new training toolkit which explores victim awareness. The toolkit is an online resource which aims to increase understanding of the ongoing and far-reaching impact of crime on individuals and communities.

We are delighted to confirm that the Cabinet Secretary for Justice, Kenny MacAskill MSP, will join us at this event.
