Victim Strategy Group Nov 2010
The Victim Strategy Group have agreed to develop a toolkit based on the multi-agency victim awareness training which was first held in HMP Kilmarnock in December 2009. As part of developing the toolkit the training will be rolled out to HMP Dumfries.Victim Support Scotland are continuing to develop their links with local Community Service Teams and it is anticipated that victim awareness will be embedded in arrangements for the implementation of the new Community Payback Order.The Victim Strategy Group have also been developing a workplan which will contribute to our Local Outcome: Victims' voices are heard throughout the Criminal Justice System.
