South West Scotland CJA recognises that victims, their families, witnesses and communities are all affected by offending. We have chosen to make particular progress in our work with victims over the lifetime of our Area Plan 2008-11. We are working with Victims Support Scotland to find out the range of information and services available to victims of crime in South West Scotland. Victim Support Scotland is developing a user satisfaction survey. The results from this will be shared with CJA partners and will help us to improve services for victims. A Victims Strategy Group has been set up to create our local victims strategy which will complement the National Strategy for Victims. |
